Returns Policy

At Casa Vietri, each piece is crafted from solid volcanic lava stone and handcrafted wrought iron. Due to the substantial and artisanal nature of our products, our returns policy is structured to reflect the care, logistics and costs involved.

This policy operates in accordance with Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law

Under Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund if a product:

  • Has a major fault

  • Is not of acceptable quality

  • Is significantly different from its description

  • Is unfit for its intended purpose

Change of Mind Returns

Made-to-Order Tables

Most Casa Vietri tables are made to order or imported specifically in response to your purchase.

For these items:

  • Change-of-mind returns are not accepted

  • Custom colours, dimensions, inscriptions and personalised designs cannot be changed once production has commenced.

  • Orders cannot be cancelled once production or procurement has commenced

In-Stock Tables

For in-stock items only, we may accept change-of-mind returns under the following strict conditions:

  • Return request must be submitted within 7 days of delivery

  • Item must be unused and in original condition

  • Item must be returned in original packaging

  • Return freight is at the customer’s expense

  • Items not in original packaging or damaged in transit will not be accepted

  • A 20% restocking fee applies

  • Original delivery charges are non-refundable

Refunds are processed only after the returned item has been received and inspected.

If the item is damaged during return transit, the refund may be reduced or declined.

Order Cancellations

As many Casa Vietri pieces are imported or commissioned upon purchase:

  • Orders cannot be cancelled once confirmed and processing has commenced

  • If a cancellation request is made before procurement begins, we may consider it at our discretion

We recommend reviewing all dimensions, specifications and delivery details carefully before completing your purchase.

Natural Stone & Handcrafted Variation

Each tabletop is cut from natural volcanic lava stone. Variations in tone, surface pattern, texture and minor irregularities are inherent characteristics of natural stone and handcrafted production.

These variations are not considered faults.

Delivery Damage

All deliveries must be inspected at the time of receipt.

If your item arrives damaged:

  • Notify us within 48 hours of delivery

  • Provide clear photographs of the damage and packaging

  • Retain all packaging until the matter is resolved

Failure to report within this timeframe may limit our ability to lodge a freight claim.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days after inspection of returned goods.

Payment processing fees are non-refundable.
