Casa Vietri tables are substantial handcrafted furniture pieces made from solid volcanic lava stone and wrought iron. Due to their weight, fragility and imported nature, shipping is handled with specialised freight services.
Shipping Locations
Casa Vietri delivers Australia-wide where freight access is available through our delivery partners.
In most cases, made-to-order tables include free standard delivery within Australia.
Free delivery applies to standard metro and accessible residential locations only and includes Threshold Delivery. Threshold Delivery means delivery to the ground floor entry of the property in the item’s original packaging.
Some locations may require additional freight charges, including:
- Remote or regional areas
- Locations outside standard freight coverage
- Properties with restricted access
- Multi-level deliveries involving stairs, lifts, narrow pathways or specialised handling requirements
After an order is placed, Casa Vietri will confirm freight availability and delivery costs with our freight partners based on the delivery address provided.
If additional delivery charges apply, we will contact you before commencing production. If the additional freight charges are not accepted, the order may be cancelled and refunded at Casa Vietri’s discretion.
Casa Vietri reserves the right to decline delivery to locations that are not serviceable by our freight providers.
Delivery Restrictions
Casa Vietri delivers Australia-wide where service is available through our freight and delivery partners.
Some locations may be outside standard carrier service areas or inaccessible for specialised furniture freight delivery.
Casa Vietri may be unable to deliver to certain locations, including:
- Remote islands
- Isolated rural or regional areas
- Locations inaccessible to standard freight vehicles
- PO Boxes or Parcel Lockers
- Restricted-access communities
- Addresses not supported by our freight partners
Delivery availability is subject to final carrier confirmation after purchase.
If delivery to your address is unavailable or requires additional charges, Casa Vietri will contact you before commencing production.
Order Processing
Orders are processed once full payment has been received.
Because many of our pieces are made to order or imported specifically in response to your purchase, production and procurement timelines vary.
Estimated lead times are provided on each product page.
Lead times are estimates only and may vary due to production schedules, international shipping, customs clearance, biosecurity inspections and local freight conditions.

Once the table arrives in Australia, we’ll let you know when it’s ready for delivery to your address. When dispatched within Australia, standard delivery time is typically 5–14 business days depending on location.
Delivery timeframes are estimates only and may be affected by events outside our control, including freight delays or customs processing.
Delivery Method
Due to the weight and fragile nature of lava stone tables, deliveries are completed using specialised freight carriers.
Standard delivery includes Threshold Delivery only, meaning the item is delivered to the ground floor entrance of the delivery address in its original packaging.
Delivery does not include:
- Unpacking
- Assembly
- Packaging removal or disposal
- Placement inside the home
- Stair carries
- Hoisting or crane services
- Difficult access handling
Customers are responsible for ensuring the delivery location is safely and reasonably accessible.
Before ordering, please ensure:
- Doorways, hallways, lifts and access points can accommodate the item dimensions
- The delivery location is safely accessible for freight handling
- Any stairs, narrow pathways or restricted access points are disclosed before purchase
- Someone is available to receive and inspect the delivery
Additional delivery charges may apply where access conditions require extra labour, specialised handling or re-delivery.
Casa Vietri is not responsible for failed deliveries where items cannot be safely transported into the property due to undisclosed or inaccessible access conditions.
If redelivery is required due to failed access or absence, additional charges may apply.
After delivery is scheduled and confirmed, it cannot be cancelled. If cancellation is requested after scheduling, a redelivery fee may apply.

Inspection Upon Delivery
All items must be inspected at the time of delivery.
If there is visible damage:

Note it on the freight documentation

Take clear photographs of the item and packaging

Notify us within 24 hours
Failure to report damage within this timeframe may affect our ability to assist.
Shipping Costs
Shipping for made-to-order tables is included Australia-wide for eligible delivery locations unless otherwise stated.
Free shipping applies to standard freight delivery conditions only.
Additional freight charges may apply for:
- Remote or regional delivery locations
- Areas outside standard carrier service zones
- Difficult property access
- Stair access or multi-level deliveries
- Re-delivery requests
- Special handling requirements
Where additional freight costs apply, Casa Vietri will provide a separate freight invoice prior to commencing production.
All freight and delivery charges are non-refundable once shipping has been booked with the carrier.
All shipping quotations and free freight eligibility are subject to final carrier confirmation after purchase.
Delays Beyond Our Control
Casa Vietri is not liable for delays caused by:
