Fioritura Azzurra
Fioritura Azzurra is light, detailed and symmetrical. Fine cobalt and teal scrollwork moves rhythmically across a pale blue field, punctuated by soft golden floral accents and framed with patterned edging.
Unlike the saturated cobalt baroque designs, this piece feels open and airy. The ornamentation is delicate rather than dense, creating structure without visual weight. The double framing and central horizontal flourish make it particularly effective in rectangular formats.
The palette is restrained — cool blues, subtle greens and warm yellow highlights working together with precision. It reads decorative but calm.
Hand-painted on solid Mount Etna lava stone and kiln-fired at high temperature, the glaze permanently bonds to the volcanic substrate. The surface resists UV exposure, tolerates heat and maintains colour clarity under Australian outdoor conditions.
This design suits outdoor settings that favour light tones and refined detailing over bold contrast.
