Rondò Nero
Rondò Nero is elegant and richly detailed. A flowing garland of lemons, grapes, pomegranate and citrus blossoms traces the perimeter against a deep black ground, framing a calm, open centre.
The dark border gives the composition contrast and depth, allowing the fruit and florals to stand out with clarity. Fine vine work and delicate blossoms soften the overall look, preventing it from feeling heavy.
Unlike structured baroque pieces, this design is organic and continuous — the fruit forms a rhythmic loop rather than rigid sections. It feels abundant but controlled.
Hand-painted on solid Mount Etna lava stone and kiln-fired at high temperature, the glaze permanently bonds to the volcanic substrate. The surface resists UV exposure, tolerates heat and maintains colour stability under Australian outdoor conditions.
This design works particularly well for long dining tables and spaces that benefit from contrast — light paving, timber decking or bright outdoor settings.
